Patios House

Two households are connected by a courtyard-like greenhouse space as an entrance. The courtyard is covered with top lights to create a greenhouse space that also serves as an interior flow line.
Breezes entering from the garden pass through the greenhouse, creating a breeze flow to the shared entrance, Japanese-style room, guest room, and second-floor living and bedroom spaces, and then exit through the high-sided windows.
In summer, awnings over the top lights control direct sunlight.
The greenhouse will be a shared space between the two households and a place to grow coffee trees.
