RC Rahmen Frame + “Forest”
The FA Building is the headquarters building of Floor Agent, a concrete construction total solution construction company. The building is located in Rokucho, Adachi-ku, Tokyo, on a flat site after a land readjustment project. The three-story RC Rahmen frame is surrounded by a 9-meter-high zelkova tree and a “forest” of autumn leaves. The powerful open space of the RC ramen frame made of high-strength concrete and the “forest” respond to each other, creating a place for craftsmen and office staff to gather and have contact with each other, and the lively atmosphere of the gathering is connected to the interior and exterior of the building, which is planned to become an architecture that will create the future landscape of Rokucho in Adachi-ku.

Considering the Environment as a Plastering and Concrete Company
As efforts are being made toward a de-carbonized society, the client, contractors, designers, and manufacturers met and discussed many times at each stage of the project what we could do as a concrete company. We believed that building a strong, long-lasting structure would ultimately be the best way to reduce CO2 emissions, so we decided to use high-strength concrete with a low water cement ratio to create a denser, more durable structure, and we thoroughly controlled cracking measures and construction accuracy.
Various plaster finishes were used for the interior, depending on the intended use.
